Shemale

A shemale differs from a transvestite or crossdresser but they have their similarities. First, shemales and transvestites or crossdressers are both born male but they hold the belief or have the feeling of being a real woman trapped inside the body. It is for this reason that they cross dress or assimilate being female. Transvestites usually stop at the point of dressing and looking as a woman by wearing female clothes, having longer hair, and wearing makeup—basically changing their exterior look to look more feminine. They achieve satisfaction from dressing in the clothes of the opposite sex.

Shemales, on the other hand, are transgender women who are born male—and are still undergoing the transformation or have stopped at that stage where they keep their male genitalia. Simply put, they are biologically male, but have done transformations to their body to become more feminine. Such changes they undergo include the simple acts of growing longer hair, wearing makeup, and wearing female clothes, to more extreme changes such as taking hormones to change the pitch of their voice, having breast implants, and other surgical procedures to achieve physical changes.

The term “shemale” is usually used as a derogatory term, and in pornography, they are usually those who appear in fetish porn or for lesbian viewers who prefer seeing penetration without the use of strap ons. Shemales can be the transgender males still undergoing their complete transformation but are still waiting for that time where they undergo their sex change operation, or they can also be those who have chosen to stop at the point where they keep their male genitalia while altering the rest of their body to become more feminine.

In most cases, shemales have the homosexual sex orientation but their reasons for keeping their male genitalia may vary depending on personal reasons and preferences concerning comfort and sexual satisfaction.
